Auto Insurance Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your auto insurance rates are based on the zip code you currently reside in which means that moving can affect your rates!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you are moving to a new residence locally, just call us around the time of your moving date so we can update your policy with the new address.\u00a0 This way you know you\u2019ll receive any bills on time at your new address and your policy information will be correct!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you\u2019re moving out of state, there is a little more work involved.\u00a0 Since we only offer insurance in this state, you\u2019ll need a policy and a new agent in your new city!\u00a0 This process isn\u2019t as difficult as it might sound.\u00a0 Just let us know and we can help you find an agent and get the information transferred over.\u00a0 Most states allow you a 30 day grace period to change over your coverage upon moving.\u00a0 Don\u2019t wait until the last minute though!\u00a0 Get the process started before your move so you are covered quickly.<\/p>\n

Home Insurance Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your home insurance changes will depend on the status of your move.\u00a0 See which of the scenarios below fits you:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Selling Current Home, Purchasing A New One:<\/strong>\u00a0 Once you find your NEW home, let us know the information and the loan officer handling your closing so we can prepare the new insurance policy.\u00a0 Once your old home has closed, just give us a call with the closing date so we can cancel that policy.\u00a0 Any refund will be sent to you.<\/p>\n

Leaving Rental, Purchasing Home: <\/strong>\u00a0As above, just let us know about the home you\u2019re purchasing so we can prepare for closing.\u00a0 Once the home has closed and you\u2019ve left the rental, let us know and we\u2019ll take care of canceling that policy and sending any refund.<\/p>\n

Buying New Home & Renting Out Old:<\/strong>\u00a0 We can convert your old home into a policy for a landlord!\u00a0 This will keep the property insured, but not cover the personal belongings inside.\u00a0 (You\u2019d want to require your renters to carry renter\u2019s insurance!)\u00a0 We\u2019ll also prepare a Homeowners policy for the property you are residing in.<\/p>\n

Moving From One Rental To Another:<\/strong>\u00a0 If you currently have a renters policy and you\u2019re moving to a NEW rental in the same state, we can simply make a change to your policy with the new address.\u00a0 Just let us know the date of the change!<\/p>\n
